Dale Fowkes, CEO Health Freedom Nutrition
I wasn't the first to sell Conjugate Linoleic Acid (CLA)!
But there was a good reason for that!
Those of you who know me know that I don't just introduce any new fad product that comes along. I always ask... where's the science? ... where are the clinical studies? ... what's the safety record?
That's why I wasn't the first to jump on the Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) bandwagon.
Some companies have been selling CLA for the past 10 years or so. And while I was impressed with some of the early studies showing CLA's ability to help people maintain a healthy body weight and lose fat, I still wasn't convinced of its safety.
Well, a study published in the March, 2010, edition of Food & Chemical Toxicology finally convinced me that CLA was both safe and effective in helping people shed pounds and maintain muscle mass. The study used human volunteers taking five times the recommended dosage. The results showed CLA did not affect kidney and liver function, which was one of my fears.
So while we may have not been the first, I am pleased to say that Health Freedom Nutrition does offer Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA).
